Friends of Fauns

Today, dear readers, I want to introduce a cause near and dear to my heart.

I started the organization Friends of Fauns after returning from Narnia the first time. Mr. Tumnus, of course, my dear friend the Faun, was my introduction to the world of fauns.

Misunderstood creatures they are, with a reputation for being mischievous and even immoral. I can proudly report that Mr. Tumnus and the other fauns I've met in Narnia do not hold to this reputation. They are respectable  pleasant, and hospitable.

That said, there are some items which humans might want to keep in mind when befriending fauns:

1) The music from their pipes can make you very sleepy. Do make sure you are not seated in too comfortable a chair when he begins to play for you.

2) They are very proud of their lineage, so take care to respect his elders and parents.

3) They are quite resistant to cold. Be sure to bring an extra jacket when visiting his house.

If you keep these items (and your normal manners) in mind, I'm sure you will get along splendidly with your new faun friend! Good luck!
